Handmade ceramic bowl • Wheel-thrown stoneware
A little rough around the edges—with a clear job description.
This bowl lives firmly in our All Oopsies collection. It was thrown by hand from brown speckled stoneware and finished with a beautifully varying blue glaze that pools and shifts across the surface. Visually, it’s still doing a lot of good work.
Structurally, though, it has opinions.
There is a chip on the rim that occurred before glaze firing and is fully sealed, plus a visible crack on the inside bottom of the bowl. While the piece remains sturdy and intact, we no longer recommend it for food use out of an abundance of caution.
That said, this bowl still has plenty of life left. It’s perfect as a catchall, plant bowl, key drop, desk organizer, or decorative shelf piece—anywhere a little handmade character is welcome.
Because of the more significant flaws, this piece is priced accordingly and sold with full transparency.
